Busulfan tablets are used for the treatment of Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, Polycythemia Vera, Thrombocythemia, Myelofibrosis, Prior Bone Marrow Transplant. Busalfan damages the DNA of the cancer cells and so it cannot replicate. Side effects: irregular heartbeat, jaundice, hair loss, coma, increaseas levels of alkaline phosphate in blood, inceased in blood urea nitrogen.
