Cetuximab injection is used to treat a kind of head and neck cancer that has progressed to neighbouring tissues or other sections of the body. It is also used to treat a form of the colon (large intestine) or rectum cancer that has progressed to other parts of the body, either alone or in conjunction with other drugs. Cetuximab belongs to the monoclonal antibody class of drugs. It helps to slow down or prevent cancer cell proliferation.
